custom gate design: double-door with arch

Workscope: After installing a new fence, (which was concrete but looked like rough-sawn cedar) around the perimeter of the property the property owners now needed a custom gate designed to enclose the yard while matching the new fence. The entire process from concept to installment took a year. After research, brainstorming, and then creating technical drawings to 100% scale the project slowly came together. The designer provided cardboard templates to the wood craftsmen and Adobe Illustrator files to the laser cutting services for the tulip-shaped metal inserts, arch and custom hinges. All metal parts were dipped in a bronze metal coating.
